- Using the SSC Admin web page select create a new commerce site, then
invoke it's manager and begin the Site builder wizard.
- Select a custom site, not one based on samples.
- Supply merchant info identifying site.
- Supply Locale info.
- *Select the site styles.
- **Select Promos, Crosselling.
- *Select variable depth/multi-level departments.
Enable product searching. (Note that further work is
need to build SSC/Knowledge Search Catalogs for the
E-Catalog database, but it's pretty straightforward.) - *Select dynamic product attributes.
- *Select max attributes (5). This doesn't apply to the
e-Catalog which has no practical limit on the number
of product attributes.
- **Select shipping and handling options.
- **Select the Credit Cards to support.
- Select retain order history.
- Select Output options:
- Add Schema and load data the first time.
- Leave default if you've already created the E-Catalog.
**Depends on your use of the Commerce pipeline. XASP is generally
independent of the OPP and creates an OrderForm at transaction
time.
When done, the site builder wizard will show links to both the
both the Manager and the Store. Verify the base MS site works
and you'll then be ready to add the customization.
