3.6 Mapping General Attributes - Prices and Images

Finally, you can add sample price and image data to the base content sent in the previous step. To do so follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you're logged in. It's safe to try to do so if you already are.
  2. Select the ``Build E-Catalog'' form (Fig 3.10) from the main switchboard.
  3. Press the ``Map Object Attributes'' button on the Build form.
  4. In the form that appears, select the ``PERPRICE'' attribute. then press ``Browse''.
  5. In the file selector that appears, select the file pricedata.xls.
  6. In the form the pricedata.xls file should now have the path you specified for general attributes during initial configuration of AnyFront, as in the following figure

    Press ``Proceed''.

  7. Leave all the fields in the next form ``Mapper Details'' as shown

    and press ``Do It''.

  8. A new form will appear ``Mapper Progress''.

    Press ``Press to Continue''.

  9. Scroll down on the log of the map scan and see that the last line has the same number

    of found/accepted SKUs, then press ``Scan Into Workset''.

  10. The same form will perform a second scan and the number of found/processed should be

    the same. Press ``Add to Batch''.

  11. You will automatically be taken to the ``Access E-Catalog'' tab (Fig. 3.7) of the Data Collection form where you should press the ``Process XASP Batch'' button.
  12. After processing you will get a message indicating the number of records processed.

To add the images, repeat the process above but use the attribute ``PERIMAGE'' and the file ASLinuxImages.xls instead.

This completes the processing of the sample content.
