As a further demonstration of what can be accomplished visually through CSS–based design this modification of the garden XHTML presents our token economy.
To see this content in a new garden style, select a random style. Or go to our skeletal style.
The garden, being oriented toward 'creatives', only shows one side of the CSS-X((HT)M/S)L independence. This page shows the other side by presenting totally different content with the same visual styles.
Of course there is a limit to how far this can work. To demonstrate this flexibility at its maximum, it would be necessary for the creatives to have designed styles in concert with an advanced content transformation mechanism and already completed deep automation of application of the creatives style designs. In that case an entirely different content structure could be presented in the different styles.
As it is, the top level of the original content structure has been preserved as has the original functionality, i.e. the switching of styles. Explicitly selecting a specific design returns you to the garden content, while our new functionality is in the 'select a random style' link. The remainder of the content however is about our token economy.
This is about our token economy. To fulfill the ideal of free enterprise it is necessary to transcend crude models of capitalism where parasites control the exchange of value by controlling the exchange form of value. In backward cultures domininated by this narrow-minded social form, no economic activity can take place which does not fit the irrational form of monetizable expropriation, exploitation and simple cheats, "making money". Individual, organizational, and societal values which cannot be so monetized and transacted are simply ignored and this is accepted as natural. Deals which are fair are deemed pointless since the interests which control such economies are either completely dismediated or restricted to accepting a fair and open value for thier services, in contrast to the situation where they are normally able to conceal the rate at which they buy and sell in order to play both ends against the middle.
To be sure the assignment of numerical value, represented in an actual currency is a key part of any rational free enterprise economy. It is the constriction of the conversion of real (use) values to values controlled by interests which are in effect parasites on production processes that is massively irrational. By providing a mechanism to cut out this cancer from free economic activity we are in fact making a reality of the concept of free enterprise. Our belief is that even though the domination of the aforementioned social form seems inescapable, in fact the real producers in actual economic activity are only awaiting the provision of mechanisms enabling truly free trade to demonstrate the fact that thier true productive powers have only been waiting to burst thru the contraints of institutional parasitism. That's what this is about, providing those mechanisms.
We would like to offer the service for nothing but unfortunately this doesn't work. Not only would that violate the accounting axioms of the domain economy, neither would it be fair since the service cost us something to present.
Other compelling reasons for requiring a transacted value for the provided service, are that
This fee is initially waived for early participants while the web drives the evolution of the concept but eventually everyone will be expected to take some ownership of the economy as we are simply it's operator and token economy. developer.
If we are already working with you on a project, you probably have some idea of what this all means practically. If you using the services provided here for your external projects, see requirements below.
The domain token economy offers members service in the following areas:
In the WinWin system you will see examples of negotiated values, called WinConditions such as deadline/time to market,
mission/feature sets, etc. Our departure from WinWins intended use is that we apply it to arbitrary negotiations.
To use some software such as WinWin, you must have an X-server. You can easily get and install one on your computer if you are using a pc to access the internet. Our WinWin page will show you how to get and install a free one for Windows if you don't already have.
To participate in the token economy you must have authenticated with us either personally or via a transaction. As mentioned, the minimum membership is just 1 € for 1 month.
You also must be able to install our certificate in your browser, since this is how we enable secure, private safe and audited participation in the domain economy.
You do not have to identify yourself to other members but we must know your real identity to prevent abuse and assure quality.
